ok guys n galls anyone have this problem and know how to overcome it i currently use the habistat dimmer night day for my dragons but as the days are getting hotter thus increasign the ambient temp. the hot spot is decreasing in temp i have tried turning this up but then the ammbient temp is too high and they have no cool side im not too worried as it stays well in the 90's but any suggestions ??

How big is the cage? what are your temps?

im having this problem aswell my basking spot has dropped from 105 to 97 but bds are fine down till 95 so keep it around that mark for now and keep ur eye on it though as it may drop to cool on a cool day and if there 2 warm just get them out for a while ;-)

Maybe you can get a lower wattage light, and put it a little closer/farther, and if your lucky your temps will be back to normal.

How big is your viv? I don't seem to be having this problem although i know i did when my vivarium was smaller.

hi dudes my viv is 48x18x15 temps are fine in the winter and these cooler days its just these very hot days that knock my temps about
